# How to Register for Granite

## Complete guide to creating your Granite account

Welcome to Granite! Follow these steps to create your account:

**Step 1: Enter Your Mobile Number**

- Select your country code
- Enter your mobile number (9-12 digits)
- Tap "Start Now" to receive an OTP

**Step 2: Verify Your Mobile Number**

- Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to your phone
- The code expires in 60 seconds
- Didn't receive it? Tap "Resend" after the timer ends

**Step 3: Enable Location Services**

- Allow location access when prompted
- This is required by government regulations for financial services

**Step 4: Enter Your Email Address**

- Provide a valid email address
- You'll receive a verification code

**Step 5: Verify Your Email**

- Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to your email
- Code expires in 60 seconds

**Step 6: Create Your PIN**

- Set a 6-digit PIN
- Avoid sequences (123456) or repeated numbers (111111)
- Confirm your PIN by entering it again

**Step 7: Enable Biometrics**

- Set up Face ID or fingerprint authentication
- This makes logging in faster and more secure
