What is the difference between Personal and Fund Performance?

Understand how to read your home screen and what each view represents.

The Performance section in the GRANITE app helps you track returns over different time periods (1W, 1M, 3M, 6M, 1Y, YTD, Max).

You can switch between two views:

  • Personal
  • Fund

Personal Performance reflects the actual performance of your account.

It takes into account:

  • When you added funds
  • When you made withdrawals
  • Your actual balance over time

This means it shows your real experience, not just the fund’s performance.

Fund Performance shows the performance of the underlying GRANITE Money Market Fund over the selected period.

It:

  • Reflects the fund’s overall performance
  • Is the same for all clients
  • Is not affected by your individual transactions

The two values may differ because:

  • You may have entered at a different time
  • You may have added or withdrawn funds during the period
  • Your balance may not have been constant

Fund Performance = how the fund performed
Personal Performance = how you performed

The Annualized Performance shows what the selected period’s return would look like if it continued over a full year.

This helps you:

  • Compare returns across different time periods
  • Understand the rate in annual terms

How should I use this?

  • Use Personal Performance to understand your actual returns
  • Use Fund Performance to understand how the fund is performing overall
