Why is the app not accepting my phone number?

Your mobile number must be registered in your name.

At this time, GRANITE only allows registration with mobile numbers that are officially registered under your name with the mobile operator. This is a requirement set by the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) and verified through the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA).

If your line was recently registered or transferred to your name, it may take some time for the NTRA database to reflect the change.

We understand this limitation and are currently working on a solution that will expand accessibility in the future. In the meantime, we recommend either:

  • Retrying registration later after the operator updates NTRA records

  • Ensuring your mobile number is properly registered in your name
